Gupta Strategists is a boutique strategy consultancy that focuses exclusively on healthcare. Founded in 2005 and based in the Netherlands, we work with the full breadth of the sector: hospitals, elderly care and mental health care providers, pharmacies, health insurers, government bodies, regulators, medical device suppliers, pharmaceutical companies, investors and patient organisations.
Our work ranges from long-term strategic plans and market analyses to new business models, merger guidance and leadership development. What ties it together is our way of working: deep subject-matter knowledge combined with rigorous, quantitative analysis, developed together with the client's own team so the insight and capability stay in the organisation. Our core values centre on content, impact and independence. We believe that good advice starts with sound analysis, every recommendation has to be worked out in numbers before it becomes a story.
Looking ahead, our vision is that healthcare will keep facing intensifying pressure, rising demand, workforce shortages, cost constraints and that navigating this will require organisations that can combine strategic thinking with hard, quantitative evidence.
An econometrician fits naturally here: much of our value comes from translating messy healthcare data into a clear, defensible argument, and that requires someone comfortable building and stress-testing a quantitative model, not just interpreting one. From a starting employee, we expect curiosity, an analytical mindset, and the drive to dig into data and figures independently, but also the communication skills to turn that analysis into a story a client's board can act on. Prior healthcare knowledge is not required; an interest in the sector and a genuine wish to contribute to it is. You'll be a full project team member from day one, working directly with clients rather than in the background.
Moments of impact
Gupta Strategists fits Moments of Impact because our entire purpose is to improve healthcare. We are a strategy consultancy that works exclusively in the sector, and every project we take on is judged by one question: does it demonstrably make healthcare better, whether that is more accessible, more affordable, or higher quality.
Sustainability is a natural extension of that mission, and it is an area where Gupta takes the lead rather than following. We use our analytical approach to help healthcare organisations, insurers, and policymakers understand where making healthcare greener will have the most impact, and to turn that understanding into concrete action instead of good intentions.
This combination, working on real healthcare challenges with hard, data-driven analysis, and taking a frontrunner role in making the sector more sustainable, is exactly why Gupta belongs among the Moments of Impact organisations.
