Emerging disruptions (AI, climate change, geopolitical and demographic uncertainty, etc.) introduce both risks and opportunities to our clients. The Risk Modelling Services and Pensions team supports them with modelling solutions. We analyze potential impacts of future events on organizations to help them anticipate and optimize decision-making.
Our support focuses on insurers, banks, pension funds and government agencies. We offer strategic advice based on quantitative exercises. These quantitative exercises include:

Analyzing complex claims or credit patterns.

Simulating balance sheets, asset mixes, or capital requirements.

Introducing AI to optimize customer support or the identification of large events.

Estimating impacts of pension strategies in the Dutch pension system transition or financial structures for risk-sharing.
Career & Thesis Opportunities
We offer a working student position in Actuarial and Quantitative Consulting within our team for 2 or 3 days a week, over a period of 6 months starting from November 2025 (or later, if necessary). You will work on assignments for actual clients, or assist the team in developing new propositions. The success of the team depends on your analytical insights, your communication skills, and your creativity in generating new ideas. During the remaining days of your week, you can work on your master’s thesis. We provide a buddy, coach, and thesis supervisor for PwC-related thesis topics. It is important to note that we do not offer thesis internships exclusively; they are only offered in combination with a working student position.
